Publications, Patents, Participation in Conferences
At the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering (InITCE) the research work of students is put. For three last by years students InITCE
- 291 scientific works is published;
- 56 patents of Ukraine and certificates on the composition (the computer program) are received;
- 438 reports are made on annual scientific and technical conferences of professorial-teaching staff and students of VNTU.
Olympiads
Olympiads of the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering (InITCE)
Chairs of Institute annually carry out subject Olympiads on programming, protection of the information, computer science, system programming, higher mathematics and foreign languages. For three last years 376 students have taken part in the subject Olympiads of IITCE.
Olympiads on Programming
The basic achievements:
- September, 2001 - commands of the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering (InITCE) have occupied 1 and 3 places in the finale of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on programming.
- September, 2002 - commands of InITCE have occupied 2 and 6 places in the finale of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on programming.
- October, 2002 - the command of InITCE in composition of Bogdan Vlasyuk, Oleksiy Kharkov and Pavlo Korzhyk has occupied 6 place among 48 best teams in semifinal competitions of championship of the world on programming in the southern - east European region.
- September, 2004 - the team of InITCE in composition of brothers Korgyks and Dmytro Bilous has occupied 2 place in the finale of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on programming.
- September, 2005 - the command of InITCE in composition of Bogdan Vlasyuk, Dmytro Korzhyk and Dmytro Bilous has occupied 3 place in the finale of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on programming.
- October, 2005 - our command has occupied 3 place in a semifinal of championship of the world on programming which has passed to Bucharest that has given her the right to take part in the finale of championship of the world for the first time.
- April, 2006 - the command of InITCE in composition of Bogdan Vlasyuk, Dmytro Korzhyk and Dmytro Bilous has occupied 34 place among 80 best teams of the world in the finale of championship of the world which has passed in Saint - Antonio, the state Texas, the USA in April, 2006.
- September 2006 р. – the command of VNTU at which staff students of InITCE, Dmytro Korzhyk and Denys Budelkov, acted, has occupied 1 place in the finale of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on programming.
- October, 2007 - the team of InITCE in composition of Dmytro Korzhyk, Dmytro Bilous and Andriy Kozachuk has occupied 2 place (from 45 participants) in a semifinal of championship of the world on programming which passed to Bucharest, and has received the right of participation in the finale of championship of the world.
- April, 2008 - our command has occupied 29 place among 102 participants of the finale of championship of the world on programming in Banff (Canada).
Due to high results of our students in Olympiads on programming beginning with 2001 VNTU was entrusted the carrying out of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on programming which has received the status of the fourth of the finale in the championship of the world.
All-Ukrainian Olympiads
Our students act successfully not only on Olympiads on programming.
- In 2005 the student Y.M. Konovalyuk has occupied 3 place in the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on computer science.
- In 2006 the student S.V. Voznyuk has occupied 3 place in the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on higher mathematics.
- In 2007 in the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad on computer science, which passed in Kharkov, Yuriy Konovalyuk has occupied 2 place, and Dmytro Zarezenko and Denys Budelkov - 3 places. In team test our guys have occupied 2 place, having renounced only to owners of competitions.
- In 2007 the student O.D. Feferman has occupied 3 place in the second stage of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on system programming.
- The student A.V. Kushnir has occupied 3 and 2 places in the second stage of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on foreign language accordingly in 2007 and 2008.
All-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works
According to the order № 520 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 13.09.2005 VNTU is determined as a base institution for carrying out of the 2-nd round of all-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works on a direction " Computer Science and Cybernetics ”. Direct preparation and carrying out of Competition was entrusted for carrying out to the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering (InITCE). For three years more than 200 works have come on Competition from 53 high educational establishments of Ukraine.
The student of InITCE O.O. Reshetnik became one of five winners of Competition-2006, one more student of InITCE Y. L. Lyasheno was awarded with the incentive diploma. In 2007 at the final conference of Competition the student of InITCE V.A. Garnaga has been awarded by the diploma of the winner of І degree. In 2008 the student of InITCE S.V. Bogomolov became a winner of Competition.
Adequately students of InITCE also represented the university in 2 round of the all-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works on a direction “Computer Science, Computer Facilities and Automation” which passed in Sevastopil.
In 2007 the student Y. L. Lyashenko was awarded with the diploma of ІІ degree, and students O.D. Feferman and S.V. Hrushchak – with diplomas of ІІІ degree.
In 2008 students Y. V. Baryshev and D. P. Zarezenko were awarded with diplomas of ІІ degree, and students S. M. Bogatchuk and M. V. Kreshchenetska – with diplomas of ІІІ degree.
The student O.V. Dmytryshyn became the winner and received the diploma of І degree in 2 round of the all-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works on a direction “Mathematical Sciences” which passed in Donetsk.
By the order №992 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 30.10.2008 VNTU is determined as a base institution for carrying out of the 2-nd round of the all-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works on a direction “Computer Science, Computer Facilities and Automation”. Carrying out of Competition is entrusted to InITCE again.
