Between 9 and 13 September in Vinnytsia National Technical University held open the final All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad programming, which includes 27 best teams of Ukraine from 142 teams that played in the semifinals. In addition, participants in the final two teams from Georgia: Tbilisi State University team and a team of Georgian University. St. Andrew the First called Patriarchate of Georgia, and the team from the Technical University of Moldova. Additionally, out of competition in the finals by the team of Lviv National University. Franko, a former world championship gold medalist in programming, and a team of physical and mathematical school number 17 (as vocational measure).

         Results were presented in the final 14 universities from 11 cities of Ukraine (+ 3 foreign universities): from Vinnitsia, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy.

         Most universities were represented by two or three teams that demonstrated a decrease range of universities, which is purposeful work with gifted youth programming.

         Locations as follows: 

   Team Vinnytsia National Technical University, comprising: Vitaly Nevidomyy (4 year), Alex Stakh (3 courses) and Konstantin Schepanovskyy (4 year), started the race well, seventh solved 3 tasks. But no longer cope with any task placed on the results of the competition, only 11 place (14 last year). For the second time in finals history, our team does not get the number of winners. However, it stopped closer to the prize showed better result than last year. Thus, the positive dynamics gives reason to hope that next year we can compete for medals. Unfortunately, our team is "getting older", at the junior courses have not gone any applicant for a place in the team (Recall that seven years ago we had nine teams in the domestic tournaments, competed for the right to represent universities Olympics programming).             

           Organizational level of competition was very high. All planned activities were carried out promptly and efficiently. Having attracted a large number of sponsors, among which should be defined such world famous companies like Microsoft, CDM, ESET, Sun Microsystems and has about ten foreign and Ukrainian companies. Among the companies Vinnitsa Olympics this year supported the CDM, DataGroup, Innoivinn and the Chamber of Commerce. Especially it should be noted assist CDM, which was a platinum sponsor of the Olympics, second in size after Microsoft financial support.

           For the finalists were held: a party of acquaintances in the university canteen, sports bowling in Mehamol, watching a film at the cinema Kotsiubynsky,  sports football. Here, our students showed themselves in full force. The match between vinnichane and team-based competition in the Georgian team + Donetsk + Lviv ended with the score 11:1 in our favor. Teams were awarded valuable gifts but also medals and cups.

          Representatives of all, without exception, teams have expressed gratitude for the very high level of competition, and reaffirmed that the level of Ukrainian Organizations of the level of competition in the world championship semi-finals in Bucharest, Novosybyrsk competition in Budapest and other international competitions.
